Writing Romance

The Ultimate Guide on Craft, Creation and Industry Connections - San Francisco Area/Romance Writers of America

I must first commend all the published romance authors, editors and agents who wrote these 50 articles that inspired me more than you could imagine. The wealth of knowledge that is displayed within these articles and reference lists goes beyond anything I have seen in the industry thus far. Being an aspiring writer myself, I found that many of the articles brought points across to me that weren't ideas that I would have previously thought about on my own.

Throughout these pages authors, editors and even agents tell of the pros and cons they have seen while being in the writing industry. These are the ideas that a budding writer wants to soak up and learn from. We do not want to make the same mistakes someone else might have that could possibly close the one door of opportunity we might obtain to get our foot in the door.

This is definitely a must for any writer's library because I assure you that you will have plenty to reference from within this manual. For those who aren't as serious about getting published, but still love to write privately for your own collection, this still would be a benefit to pick up and browse through. I wish more RWA chapters would compile manuals like this to help fellow writers along the path to being successfully published writers. Bravo to the San Francisco chapter for publishing this invaluable manual. You all have done a magnificent job!
