I found this to be an enjoyable story. The author created a unique and interesting storyline that had me guessing until the end as to what was going to happen to all the characters, especially to Cassie and her ghost friend, Matt.
I loved the wolf shape shifting brothers Gabriel, Michael and Cole that Cassie and her friends met while on their vacation together. The author did a wonderful job of displaying true wolf pack behaviors through the actions she wrote about involving these three brothers.
I absolutely fell in love with Matt, Cassie’s best friend and throughout the entire story all I could do was not only fall more in love with him for how well he treated Cassie, but also I hoped that he would get everything he wished for even though, after all, he was a ghost.
Having said all these positive points above, I need to mention two points that I became aware of with this story. I noticed the author tended to redundantly mention a few sentences referencing to Cole’s past with his ex-girlfriend and because of this repetitive nature, I found it took away from the storyline a bit. It was mentioned in detail numerous times throughout the pages. Also, at times, I found the dialogue to be a bit stilted while reading along.
Overall though, I did like the story and I would look into reading something else Ms. Coulter Smith penned some time down the road.
While on vacation with some friends, Cassie finds herself drawn to a handsome stranger. Hoping she will finally have a shot at a normal life, she allows herself to care for Cole. When things get hot and heavy, Cassie's spectral best friend Matt materializes - literally.
Cole is secretly a werewolf... will Cassie be able to handle the truth? Or will the fact that he turns furry turn her off...
More importantly, will Cole be able to handle Cassie's psychic abilities? With ghosts popping up here and there, will they have a shot at a real romance?
Cassie has a choice to make. Will she choose the hottest werewolf of all, or the ghost of her dreams?
