Twelve Days of Bliss
Angel Parker hates Christmas and her co-workers think she’s a Scrooge. Everyone else is happy and festive because it’s the most wonderful time of the year, but no one wants Christmas to disappear as much as Angel does. Well, there is one other person that hates Christmas just as much and his name is Brian Maxwell, Angel’s boss and who just happens to be the primary owner and CEO of Maxwell’s department store.
While working extremely hard as Mr. Maxwell’s assistant, she can’t help but find him attractive and totally appealing. Only problem is, he’s her boss. What would he think if he finds out she has a massive crush on him? Let’s face it – the man can’t even get her name right so how would he even give her a chance at dating him? But it is the season of happiness, love and miracles so maybe Santa might have something on his gift list for Angel this year.
What happens at the Christmas party thrown by Brian Maxwell? Does Angel even attend the festivities considering she’s doing away with the whole Christmas scene?
I found this to be a wonderfully entertaining read from the very first page. The storyline was fun and the characters played extremely well off each other. Ms. Robinson has a way with telling a story that grabs you immediately and entertains her readers the entire time they’re reading. I would highly recommend this story and I eagerly look forward to reading more work from this author.
Book Blurb for Twelve Days of Bliss
It’s the most wonderful time of year and all Angel Parker wants to do is hide. Her co-workers think she’s a Scrooge and the only man she wants can’t even get her name right. All signs point to another lonely Christmas, until Angel finds herself doing the unthinkable—propositioning her boss at the company holiday party.
For the last six months, all Brian Maxwell can think about is getting his sexy assistant, Angel in bed with him. He’s tried the secretary/boss scenario before with disastrous results, but when she offers him the opportunity to spend twelve days with her, he jumps at the chance. He wants to give her the Christmas of her life, but isn’t sure he’s the man to do it. If he wasn’t enough to keep his ex-wife interested, what makes him think he’s enough for Angel?
