Elizabeth Sewell is a workaholic accountant. She has her whole life mapped out ahead of her in this thought out life plan she made for herself some time ago. Her work, unfortunately, is her life and even if Mr. Right were to walk in front of her, between her lack of experience with men and her lack of time to commit to a relationship, she wouldn't recognize it. So, she again puts a plan into action of what to do to attract the ideal mate and just how she's going to go about reaching this goal.
This is where Jack Harley comes into her life. She has decided that hiring a male escort will solve all of her male experience problems. He could teach her the ropes and what she should and should not look for in a man. Problem is, Jack isn't exactly who she thinks he is and he doesn't actually tell her the truth either. He feels that she is just too beautiful and too intelligent to tell her the truth.
Does Jack ever tell Elizabeth the truth about who he is? Or does she find out on her own? Despite everything, do they end up together in the end?
Unfortunately, although I liked the story idea and found the characters interesting I just couldn't get past the slow paced movement of the plot. For me, it distracted me from fully enjoying the story as I had hoped and for giving it a higher rating.
Workaholic accountant Elizabeth Sewell needs a man. According to her well-laid-out lifeplan, it's time to find Mr. Right and move on to the next phase of her life — married with children. The problem is, she's been so busy working her way up the career ladder, she won't spot Mr. Right even if he's carrying a neon sign. So, being an organized businesswoman, she comes up with a strategy. She'll hire a man to teach her what she needs to know to get what she wants.
Disillusioned attorney Jack Harley needs a distraction. He's left behind a high-pressure job with a prestigious law firm in Dallas and he's determined to get his life back on track by opening a private practice in Houston. When a sexy brunette mistakes his new office for the recently relocated escort service, he's stunned silent by her request for a variety of men and experiences. But when she asks him if he's man enough to uncover what turns her on, he finds his voice in time to accept the challenge.
