Kimberlyn is very different than other women. She has a deep, dark secret she keeps from everyone to protect herself. You see, she is a werewolf and possesses special healing abilities.

After her father passes away, she decides to leave LA and move into his place in Wolf’s Grove. Deep down, she always knew this would be her home one day. Once she settles in, things seem to fall into place for her. There are some dense woods located behind the house and it’s the perfect situation for her to shift into her wolf form and run careless and free for miles without anyone catching a glimpse of her. Or so she thinks.

As she stops for a drink of water at a nearby stream, a familiar sounds rings in her ears. It’s the sound of other wolves howling. Anxious to see where the other wolves are, she follows their howls. A few short minutes later, she stumbles upon a pack of wolves gathered around what seems to be a fallen pack member. Three of the wolves shift halfway between their human and wolf form and confront her. Shifting into her human form, she informs them who she is and that she means the pack no harm. The thing she wonders is why won’t any of the pack members try healing their fallen member?

Not knowing if it’s the right thing for her to do or not, she offers her assistance in healing the injured wolf. They accept her proposition and she begins licking the battered and bleeding form on the ground. When she’s finished healing him, as the other wolves marvel at what she has just done to their fallen pack member, she slips away and runs home. Ironically, from that night forward Kimberlyn’s life will never be the same again.

Was she able to fully heal the injured wolf? Who were these twelve wolves and how did things change for her since that very night?

I think the perfect word I could pick to describe this storyline is, “Fantastic!” Ms. Hunter tells a story that will fascinate any reader who picks up her book. In the process, she leaves them sitting on the edge of their seats in eager anticipation of the confrontations that happen throughout the story between Kimberlyn and the wolf pack. I loved that Kimberlyn possessed special healing abilities which made her stick out from the majority of wolves she’s encountered. I don’t want to forget to mention the two gorgeous men that I fell in love with, Logan and Andrew, who also were wolves that Kimberlyn got to know. They desperately wanted her in their lives and hoped that she’d be willing to share the special relationship they had with each other. I thought they were perfect for each other. Ms. Hunter knows how to pen a steamy paranormal story that any reader can enjoy. I highly recommend this story and eagerly look forward to reading the sequel in the near future. I promise that you won’t want to put this book down until you finish it. Well done, Ms. Hunter!
