Janelle Hart had been talking to her friend Josh on the internet for almost two years now. But, if her boyfriend Dominic Mecelli ever found out about this, he would have a serious fit. Dominic was into quite a bit of stuff that he shouldn’t have been into and poor Janelle has had her share of major heartaches because of him. Finally getting up enough courage, she packed up her daughter’s things, her belongings and the cat’s stuff and disappeared as far away from Dominic and Albany, NY as possible.
Changing her name to JC now, her and Shelby started a new life in Spring Rock, Colorado. She would do whatever she had to do to keep her daughter and herself alive. Spring Rock seemed like the perfect place to keep them safe from Dominic and the fellow members of the Falcon gang. While making what she thought was going to be a new start of things, Spring Rock held a lot of secrets that JC would eventually have to face. Some secrets were more devastating than others, but all of them were enough to rattle anyone to their core.
What were some of the secrets that JC had to face while living in Spring Rock? Did they make any friends while they were there? Did Dominic or anyone of the Flacon gang members ever stumble across JC and Shelby’s whereabouts? Could JC ever trust anyone enough to help protect her and her daughter from harm?
This story that Ms. Shultz penned was absolutely incredible. It grabbed me at the very first sentence and held my attention right to the very end. I found myself glued to my chair and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. The story packed quite a bit of suspense and my heart was pounding out of my chest during the high intensity scenes. Without a doubt, I fell in love with JC and I loved how dare devilish and feisty she was. Ms. Schultz penned a story that I would highly recommend to any reader and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this storyline. This is a keeper in my library. You have to pick this story up! I know you will enjoy it as much as I did!
