First Date

Jill Daniels is a local real estate agent and receives the surprise of her life when she gets a phone call that Brett Jacob is looking for some property for his business. She can’t believe that he’s coming in to have her show him some available properties. He was the high school star football player ten years ago and had her heart pounding in her chest whenever she saw him. She wonders what he looks like now.

As he walks into her office she can’t believe her eyes. He’s a grown man that looks even more handsome and sexy than ever before. How is she going to conduct business with this man looking like he does and bringing all these sexy thoughts to her mind? Or is she just fooling herself because he didn’t pay her no mind when they were in school together so why should now be any different? He probably doesn’t even remember her. Or does he?

How did Brett stumble upon Jill’s real estate office? Is he really interested in purchasing a piece of property or could he be meeting up with her for some hidden agenda that he has? Do the sparks fly between these two?

I thought this was a fun and creative storyline with plenty of twists and turns to keep me interested. I loved how the story unfolded and had me guessing right until the end just how things were going to turn out for both Brett and Jill. I hoped that things might have changed between them since ten years have passed and maybe there might have been a mutual spark felt this time around. The author penned a fun story that I think you’ll definitely enjoy! I’m new to Ms. Roberts’ writing, but I would definitely love to read more of her work in the future!
