Colonial Ghost

Kerry Perry decides to attend a Paranormal Convention with a few of her girlfriends. When she’s about to check in to her hotel, she learns that her reservation is lost and there aren’t any other available rooms for them to switch her to. The manager of the quaint Williamsburg Inn takes it upon himself to assist in finding her an alternate means to correct the issue. John makes a call and is elated to tell her that a friend of his is planning on opening a lovely bed and breakfast soon and he’s happy to accommodate Kerry as his first guest although his B&B isn’t open yet. Kerry accepts knowing there aren’t any other rooms available at any of the local hotels because of the convention so she’s lucky to at least have one after the mix up.

When her transport arrives to take her to the B&B, she never expects it to be this gorgeous guy on a motorcycle. From the moment they lay eyes on each other, there is a connection between these two. When they arrive at his B&B, strange things start happening that makes the both of them question their sanity.

What are some of the same things that Kerry and Broderick start witnessing at the B&B when she arrives there? Is there a reason the both of them are witnessing these particular things? Do they both act upon the spark they feel for each other?

I found this story to be an entertaining read for me. I loved seeing how Kerry worked through the misfortune she was dealt with since her reservation was lost, but it seemed that Broderick’s B&B was her only option at that point. Once Kerry and Broderick met, I was curious to see if they would act upon the spark they both felt for each other and I had hoped that if they did, maybe something good would come out of it for them. On a personal note, I loved that the author was a fan of the Highlander television show. It was nice to find a fellow fan of the series while I was reviewing her story. Overall, this was a fun story with some very enjoyable characters that I got to know while reading it.
