I thought Wild Horses was a good story that kept me entertained for a few hours. I felt bad for the main character Livie because her perfect world crumbled quickly around her, and it seemed that things would never correct themselves. Too many hurt feelings and bad words were said between her and Cooper that I just wasn’t sure how things would turn out. I felt that there were too many characters throughout the story making it difficult to follow the story at times. I’m not sure if other readers will have this issue or not, but it was a huge distraction to me. Overall, this book helped me to pass the time, but I’m not sure if I’ll follow up with book two of The Montana Hamiltons series.
After Livie has a fight with her fiancé, Cooper, their lives take a turn. Livie leaves Cooper after their heated argument and she takes off in her car. In the process, she becomes stranded in a blizzard and a nice stranger offers her assistance. But, one thing leads to another and Livie finds herself in a predicament she isn’t sure how to handle.
It took only one impusive moment on an empty two-lane highway to cost her everything.
A man's responsible for his own prosperity—especially if he's Cooper Barnett, the most determined cowboy in the West.
