Turn Left at the Cow

In this children’s adventure, we meet Trav, a thirteen-year-old, who is curious about finding out some information about his dad, who died before Trav was born. He decides to travel from California to his grandmother’s house in Minnesota and he’s hopeful that Gram will tell him some details to his father’s shady past. Like maybe where his dad stored all the loot he made off with in a bank robbery he was involved with. Teaming up with Kenny and Iz, who live next door to Gram, they set off on a crazy adventure in search for the hidden cash his father left behind. Unfortunately, these kids aren’t the only ones in search of that money and things turn dangerous for them in a hurry.

I thought this was a fun adventure that kids ages 9-12 would enjoy. They can follow along side of Trav, Kenny and Iz while these three bravely and curiously search for the hidden money that Trav’s dad left somewhere. I loved the sense of urgency Trav had in wanting to find the loot and adding a touch of danger to their search made this an overall enjoyable story for me from start to finish. Well done, Ms. Bullard!
