Truth and Dare

Harlequin Blaze, #613

Dr. Patience Clark, the Stonegate Investigative Agency's forensic anthropologist, is sent into the field by herself because there is such a shortage of detectives. Her assignment is to solve a 20-year-old cold case involving businessman's Cade Randall's father. But when she speaks to Cade she's surprised at two things. The first thing is Cade's lack of emotion regarding the case and the second thing is the sparks that are flying between them. She knows it won't be smart to get involved with him since she's working the case, but she just can't seem to get him off her mind.

Cade Randall is surprised at not only the details that Patience is discussing with him over his father's murder case, but also just how much he's attracted to her during this whole process. Could the details that she's sharing with him be the truth of what exactly happened to his father 20 years ago?

I really enjoyed getting engrossed in this book. I thought the storyline was great and I really liked the attraction that both Patience and Cade were feeling for each other. If you're looking for a hot read than look no further!
