The Katie Walsh Mysteries, #1

This was an enjoyable story with just the right mix of mystery, murder and romance. I loved the chemistry between Alec MacGowan and Katie Walsh and I really wanted them to be together. I also loved how it spanned between Boston and Scotland. I enjoy reading mysteries and I especially have a soft spot for stories that take place in Scotland, so I found this to be the perfect mix for me to really sit back and lose myself in. Ms. Montgomery provided me with plenty of twists and turns in her storyline to keep me riveted to my seat and she sprinkled it with a budding romance between Alec and Katie to make my heart swoon. I enjoyed this book so much that I found myself burning through the pages to see what was going to happen next. If you’re in the market for a book that contains intrigue, mystery, romance and murder, than look no further. Nicely done, Ms. Montgomery!
