The Legacy Keeper's Treasure

Alex is hired by Patrick O'Shea, the owner of the Castle O'Shea in Ireland, to locate a treasure that has a legend wrapped around it. Being a researcher she's thoroughly excited to be not only recognized as a top researcher, but also to be employed for two months in Ireland. It's like a dream come true for her. This is a once in a lifetime chance for her to find a hidden treasure that has a long history attached to it and she feels that although others have tried and failed at finding it, she knows that she'll be the successful one in the end.

But when she arrives in Ireland, she finds out that there'll be someone else working right beside her, something that wasn't part of the original agreement between her and Patrick. Liam is always around the castle while she's working and at times it seems to really annoy her that her work agreement changed at the last minute without her knowledge.

Little does she know that Liam is someone that'll play an integral part in changing her life hopefully for the better.

Who is Liam and how does he fit into the situation? Does Alex find the hidden treasure and break the curse that has been wrapped around it all these years? How does Liam help change Alex's life in the long run?

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I truly didn't want to see it end. Ms. Yeakle's characters were so well-round and believable that I felt that I had made friends with them as I was traveling along their journey. The details of the characters and scenery were fabulous and I felt that I was also in Ireland standing right beside Alex and Liam the entire time. I found out that this is Ms. Yeakle's first published work and if she continues writing the way she did in this wonderful novel, I assure you she'll be going places very quickly. I highly recommend this story and I hope the author continues penning stories to entertain us because I'd love to read more from her in the future!
