This was another story that I absolutely loved by Ms. Macomber. I really enjoyed getting to know Libby Morgan and Phillip Stone. The author made Libby to be a strong, independent character who thought she enjoyed working the crazy hours she did at a popular law office just so she could eventually make partner in the firm. As for Phillip, he was also a strong, independent type being he was a pediatric surgeon. Both thought they had everything in their lives to make them happy and successful, but when they met each other, everything changed for them. Through many twists and turns, the author took me on an amazing ride with both her primary and secondary characters and I loved every minute of that ride. I loved seeing how they all needed to grow, in some shape or form, to become more well-rounded people who developed stronger relationships with each other in the end. I especially loved the underlying chemistry that Libby and Phillip felt for each other. Ms. Macomber has another winner on her hands with this novel and I would love to see this novel turned into a TV movie. I highly recommend it and look forward to reading more from this very talented author.
