Stanley knows that school is a place for kids not dogs, but everyday as he watches the children walk past his house on the way to school, he wonders what really happens in school. So he decides to talk to his dog friends at the dog park the next day. Three of his dog friends get so excited that they all decide to go visit the school together. The next morning, they all find themselves sitting outside the school. They all work on a plan and find themselves inside the school with plenty of things to do just like the kids. What happens when Stanley and his three friends make it inside the school? Is school just as much fun as they had hoped?
Ms. Bailey did an excellent job telling Stanley and his friends' story about how they wanted to learn what really happens at school. Between the entertaining storyline and the adorable illustrated characters, the story really came to life for me. I loved how Stanley and his friends worked together to get inside the school and the chaos they caused once inside was really fun to read. This is definitely a book I highly recommend to readers grades Preschool to 2 and ages 3 to 7. Well done!
