Secret Desire

I really enjoyed this book and loved how Ms. Taylor wrote this story with a unique freshness about it. I loved seeing how Claire Robertson wrote her articles as if she were two different people. By day, she was this straight-laced, conservative writer and by night, she was a full-fledged erotic writer. When she accidentally sent the wrong file to her publisher, I could feel the craziness she was feeling when she realized what she had done. I thought it was funny how her publisher loved it so much they decided to run with it and have it printed. I loved Ms. Taylor’s voice throughout as she told Claire’s story. I also loved how I found myself hoping that Dustin Murray would be able to tell Claire exactly what happened to him a few years ago with her sister. I definitely recommend this story to readers and I can’t wait to see what other stories this author might already have available to read.

Claire Robertson has her hands full. By day, she’s a staff writer for a small Seattle publication in which she’s as straight-laced a writer as you can get, but by night, she sheds that persona and delves more into writing spicy, hot erotica stories. One day, while being very sleep deprived, she haphazardly sends the wrong story to her publisher. Shocked, her publisher seems to love it. If this isn’t enough for her to have to deal with, now she finds herself coming face-to-face with Dustin Murray again and having to deal with all the conflicting emotions he caused when he slept with her sister six years ago. Is Dustin finally able to clear his name with Claire and let her in on exactly what happened with him and her sister six years ago? Is there a chance they could really patch things up between them?
