Red Hot Letters to My Husband

I found this short story to be a good read overall for me. I didn’t always connect with Sherry or her husband, but I didn’t let that get in the way of reading it. One reason why I felt disconnected was how Sherry decided to write the letters the way she did to her husband, Tom. I felt the letters were stilted and scripted a bit and it took away from the story as a whole. I didn’t have a problem that these letters were sexual in nature; they were just too scripted to suit my taste. The author did throw me off for a while on who was behind all the bad things happening to Sherry and Tom. This was definitely a hot story by nature and because of this it made it a good read for me.

Sherry and Tom will be celebrating their fifteen wedding anniversary, but over the years they’ve lost a bit of spice in their relationship. So Sherry decides to add the spice back into their boring sex life by writing some hot, steamy letters to her husband explaining what she wants from him the next time they have sex. Although she’s nervous how Tom will react to the first letter since she’s never done anything like this before, she decides to go ahead with her plan no matter how insecure she feels about it. Does Tom like the letters his wife is writing him? Do the letters help to put a bit of spice back into their boring relationship?
