Passenger 19

A Jammer Davis Thriller

Jammer Davis is an aircraft accident investigator and he’s good at what he does. He doesn’t give up until he finds the answers they are looking for on whatever investigation he works on. So when a small aircraft disappears over the jungles of Columbia, it stands to reason he would be called upon to help solve the mystery of the missing plane. But this investigation will be different from any other he has worked on. You see his young daughter, who was on her way to South America for a semester abroad, was on this plane. Nothing will stop Jammer from finding out the true reason this flight just disappeared. Was his daughter really on this flight? Does Jammer find out what happened to this missing plane?

I enjoyed reading this story and I have to say it was my very first Jammer Davis story I’ve read. Although I enjoyed the storyline, I have to admit that at times I felt the plot just moved a bit slower than I would have liked it to. Since the author truly works in the flying industry, Mr. Larsen writes with an authenticity that shines throughout the story. Right from the start I wanted Jammer to find out if his daughter was truly dead and what happened to cause this flight to just go missing out of thin air. There definitely were a lot of suspenseful moments in the story and that had me continually turning the pages to see what happened next. Overall, I liked this book and wouldn’t mind looking into reading other Jammer Davis stories in the future.

Jammer Davis has spent most of his life investigating aircraft accidents. When a small regional jet disappears over the jungles of Colombia, it is a tragedy like dozens of others he has seen…but for one terrible detail—his young daughter, who was enroute to a semester abroad in South America, is listed on the passenger manifest.

A distraught Davis rushes to Bogotá and bulls his way into the inquiry. When the wreckage is located, it becomes clear the crash was unsurvivable. As the investigation gains momentum, the facts go astray. Two pilots had been shot before the crash, along with one passenger. The possibility of a hijacking looms large as the search begins to focus on two passengers who boarded the plane, yet their remains cannot be found.

Davis uncovers an even more sinister plot behind the entire disaster—one that goes to the highest levels of the United States government. But how could it possibly involve his daughter?
