How do they react to each other when they realize they’ve met prior to this?
Sarah Holt is a phone operator for an after-hours answering service provided for physicians in the story Hold On by Leslie Kelly. During one of Sarah’s busy shifts, she takes a message from a female that she finds out is supposed to be having a blind date tonight with Dr. Steve Wilshire. The woman says that she needs to cancel because she’s met a rodeo clown and is leaving for Texas that night with him. Sarah can’t believe this woman would turn down a date with such a sexy, intelligent gentleman in order to leave town with a rodeo clown. But this may be the very opportunity that she has been fantasizing about for months. Would it be so bad to go in the woman’s place and be Steve’s blind date since they never meet each other before?

Noah has a modern-art collection she’d be very interested in and Curt thinks they would hit it off if they met. Does Paige decide to go with Noah to the fundraiser? Could this be a match made in heaven?
I really enjoyed this anthology and loved each of the stories the authors penned. The characters were fun to get to know and I couldn’t wait to see how each situation turned out for each group of people. It was fun to see how in the craziest of situations sometimes the best things happen to a person. This was a good book to lose yourself in for a few hours.
