Mr. Gutman has written another book in his series, My Weird School!, that I really enjoyed because of his funny sense of humor. In this special edition, he presents some excellent writing tips for children ages 8-12. What I really love about this book is how he stresses to the children that no matter what, you must keep researching, writing and editing because those are the three important things that make a good writer become a great writer with a little practice. The book is written in a lighthearted way that will make children eager to write stories on their own no matter if they love to write already or they are reluctant writers. This is only my second My Weird School! book that I’ve read and as an adult, I’m already hooked. I’m eagerly looking forward to reviewing more from Mr. Gutman in the near future. Parents - don’t pass this series up for your children!
