Love On Loch Ness

When Dr. Gail Phillips decides to head to Scotland to do some research, she sets out wanting to disprove that Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, isn’t real. She wants to prove to the world that this monster is just a legend and that people need to stop wasting their time trying to prove otherwise. While staying in a local cabin, she meets her roommate Cryptozoologist Flynn Mahoney, who is determined to prove that Nessie is a real live animal living in Loch Ness. They both are very determined to prove the other wrong, but ultimately who is correct in regards to is Nessie a real animal or just a Scottish legend?

I really enjoyed this story because of not only the Loch Ness Monster premise, but also the setting took place in Scotland – a place I dream about visiting one day. I found the story fun to read and the pacing kept me eagerly turning the pages for more. I loved the tension between Gail and Flynn because both were on missions to prove each other wrong, but while they were doing so, an attraction sparked between them. As I turned the pages, I was anxiously waiting to find out if Nessie was a real creature or not. If you love reading stories set in Scotland and/or you love reading about popular legends, than look no further. I highly recommend this story and I look forward to reading more from this talented author in the near future.

Book Blurb for Love On Loch Ness

Dr. Gail Phillips steps onto the shores of Loch Ness to disprove the Loch Ness monster theory for good so everyone can stop wasting their time. As a marine biologist with a background in archeology, she's convinced all of the world's myths such as Big Foot, the Tasmanian devil, and even Nessie are lies. Her father disappeared while following Yettie tracks in the Alps, and she doesn't want to lose another mislead soul.

Flynn Maloney comes from a family of fanatic cryptozoologists. As a native of Scotland, he believes in Nessie as strong as Gail believes in science. Despite his initial attraction for her, he's joined her research team to prove her wrong. He wants to find Nessie for a special girl in his life, to show her dreams really can come true.

As they conduct sonar studies and sweeps of the lake, their differing opinions are at odds with their budding attraction. Gail doesn't believe in anything unscientific, such as romance, thinking the charming Flynn Maloney is full of baloney. Flynn can't believe he's falling for someone with no imagination or faith. To make matters worse, their videographer is covering his true identity. Together they must unravel his plan before he destroys everything they are working for. Will Gail force Flynn to question his faith, or will she discover more than she bargained for in the Scottish highlands?
