When Erin Tate, a cocky LIFELINE search and rescue member sees that her ex-boyfriend, Timothy Dextor, wants to apply for a paramedic position in this elite squad, she’s far from happy to see him again. She needs a man who can help strip her control away and give her want she wants in a relationship. Obviously Tim wasn’t the right guy for her back then. But could he be the right guy to give her what she desires now? Only time will tell if these two are destined to be together a second time or will they only drive each other nuts in the process of working together again? Do these two have what it takes to make a relationship work this time around?
In this third installment of the Adrenaline Search & Rescue Series, Ms. Arend doesn’t hold anything back with her characters. Each book kicks up the heat index and this book is no exception. I love the ongoing storyline and love the fact that you get to revisit past characters with each new book. The only thing that I found a little bit of an issue with was that Erin was a cocky female pilot that was a bit too obnoxious for my tastes. Other than that, the story was great and very believable. This is an excellent addition to this fun, adrenaline fueled series. Well done!
