Gull Harbor

I have to be honest and say that I was faced with mixed feelings about this story when I walked away from it. I was really looking forward to Claire Linden, a psychic medium, going into the Llewellyn’s house in Gull Harbor and trying to find the answer as to why this poor elderly couple was being terrorized by an annoying spirit. I wanted her to be able to find out who this spirit was, why they were haunting this house and hopefully be able to help the spirit pass to the other side. Although she did make contact with the ghost, I felt that the story made her priority to be more wrapped around Dan, the diner owner and Max, her ex-boyfriend who just so happens to own the local tavern in town. I felt that the ghost story became the second storyline and what was going on with Dan and Max became priority one. This frustrated me because I wanted Claire to have more contact with the ghost and be able to communicate with it, but it didn’t happen as I had hoped it would. Overall, this was an okay read for me.

Claire Linden travels to Gull Harbor in hopes of being able to stop the haunting at the Llewellyn’s house, but she isn’t prepared to run into her ex-boyfriend, Max, living in this quaint Cape Cod town. She has a job to do of ridding the house of the upset spirit that doesn’t seem to want to cross over to the other side. But trying to solve the house haunting isn’t the only problem she’s faced with while temporarily residing in Gull Harbor. She must face Max again and she isn’t prepared to do that right now. Or is she? Do they act upon the attraction they still have flowing between them? Is Claire able to rid the house of the menacing ghost without getting hurt?
