In this three story anthology, we find Navy SEAL Kyle Anderson coming home on emergency medical leave to tend to the girl that he’s still in love with but can’t have, Anna Campbell in CHRISTMAS ANGEL. Will they finally be able to work through their differences?
The second story, UNEXPECTED GIFT, we see how when Air Force Captain Gabe Brenner returns home on leave with a camera crew in tow to record his homecoming, it turns out to be a rough homecoming when he learns Kelly Coburn, his best friend’s sister, gave birth to a baby girl…that’s his. How does he deal with this situation that has been thrust upon him?
In the final story, NAVY JOY, Chief Petty Officer Ian Cairne has leave during Christmastime so he can get his late friend’s military service dog settled into civilian life. The only place available is in a guest house of a local vet, Wendi Cooper. What happens between them now that she’s taken him and Integrity into her home?
I really enjoyed this Christmas themed anthology and thought the authors did a fabulous job telling each of their characters’ stories. I loved them all equally because they had engrossing storylines and characters that you just couldn’t help but fall in love with. I even fell in love with Integrity, Ian’s friend’s military service dog. Each story tugged at your heartstrings for different reasons and each presented an ending I was happy with. Overall, I’d highly recommend this holiday anthology. Great job ladies!
