Ryan Black, a Ghost Explorer, has his own TV cable show and is quite popular with all his female fans. But since his wife’s death, he’s torn between trying to help Felicity crossover to the other side or keep her earthbound because they’re both having a tough time moving forward in their lives.
Ironically, although any woman he speaks to would be willing to be with him, when he realizes that a fellow worker, Samara Jacobs, is his true Spirit Mate, he stops at nothing to convince her to go out with him. Samara thinks he’s just like the goofball character he plays on his TV show and she really wants nothing to do with him romantically. But as they spend time together and he opens up to her, she begins to see a totally different side to him that she likes. Once he sees that she’s finally interested in him, he explains to her that she’s his Spirit Mate and they’re meant to spend the rest of their lives together.
Does Samara fall in love with Ryan and is he able to convince her that she’s his mate? Does Felicity finally crossover to the other side?
I thought this was a good read and I had hoped that Ryan could convince Samara that they truly were meant to be together. I have to admit that there were plenty of characters throughout this story and I felt at times they were overshadowing Ryan and Samara. I also found that I was second guessing myself at first of whether a character was mortal or not when they were introduced into the storyline. The points I mentioned above seem to take away from me enjoying the story as much as I had wanted to overall.
