Jessi Smith is just an ordinary person with one little exception. She has the ability to talk to animals and hear their replies. It seems that this is the very reason why she keeps finding herself in the strangest of situations. She listens to what the animals have to say, especially her Newfoundland named Chewie, and this seems to lead her right into the heart of mayhem.
Overall, I thought this was a good read and it had a few parts that made me laugh out loud over Chewie and Jessi’s antics. If something could go wrong for Jessi it seemed, more than not, that it did. Because of this, it made things even more hysterical while reading the story. If you’re looking for a fun read with a bit of a different storyline to get lost in, then this is the story for you!
Jessi Smith's thinks of herself as an ordinary girl...well, mostly. When her 100 pound Newfie leads her to a dead body while practically tripping over her gorgeous new neighbour, she figures that having a special ability might be the only thing to save her. Especially when the body goes missing, she's attacked by birds, and her dog and a nosy photographer are the only ones who believe in her.
