I've been reading another gluten free cookbook lately that has really opened my eyes up to this way of cooking. This book is called Quick-Fix Gluten Free and has so many suggestions for making your meals healthier that I really enjoyed it. It's written by a gluten-free professional chef, Robert M. Landolphi and is quite an exceptional read. I know you will enjoy it as much as I have. The photographs are great and will make you hungry for a hot comforting dish.
There are 100 decadent feeling recipes inside the covers of this cookbook so you will have a lot of fun creating these since they won't make you feel guilty eating them.
I love the variety packed into this book. Some of the recipes include Chicken Romano, Black Bean Brownies, Cinnamon Dusted French Toast, Gnocchi with Roasted Garlic Butter and Parmesan Cheese, Aunt Lil's Rich and Creamy Cheesecake, and Chicken Fingers with sweet and sour sauce.
Some of the categories are appetizers, breakfast, comfort food, desserts, dinners, lunches, and international
Each recipe points out using fresh produce and vegetables which will make a world of difference in your meal's taste. I think sometimes cooks forget about going back to the basics and using only fresh ingredients instead of dry spices and herbs. Dried spices lose their potency fast so fresh is always better if you can do it.
So even if you are not living a gluten free only lifestyle, this book will have some refreshing new dishes for you to try out on your family. Since I have diabetes trying to eat more gluten free is important to me but it really is beneficial for everyone's health. So make some dishes that you love and are better for you than your old classics. It's time for an improvement in your kitchen.
Gluten-free professional chef Robert M. Landolphi proves that a gluten-free lifestyle doesn't have to be bland and boring, labor-intensive, or time consuming inside Quick-Fix Gluten Free. In preparation for his follow-up to Gluten Free Every Day Cookbook, Landolphi queried fans about their biggest gluten-free challenges and created Quick-Fix Gluten Free in response to the dishes.
Divided into nine sections delving into everything from appetizers and breakfast to hearty, internationally inspired dishes, fan favorite comfort foods and decadent sweets and treats, Quick-Fix Gluten Free offers 100 fast and easily prepared recipes for crave-worthy dishes like Cinnamon Dusted French Toast, Kickin' Paella, Gnocchi with Roasted Garlic Butter and Parmesan Cheese, and Aunt Lil's Rich and Creamy Cheesecake.
