Tabitha Anne Kingsley was a bit more than a little tipsy. She didn't know why she had even attended the office party at the local bar. She hadn't planned on coming, but something told her she needed to come. She sits down at the bar and the sound of a sexy Scottish brogue sends shivers down her spine. When she hears a second man's brogue behind her, she all but forms a puddle at their feet. When her alcohol-loosened tongue runs away with her she excuses herself to go to the restroom where she is assaulted by her boss. Just when she is sure he is going to actually rape her, Ewan and Roddy, the males with the sexy accents, break in and save her. A final lunge from her boss, Carl, has her crashing into the wall and hitting her head on the paper towel dispenser.
Roddy carries her unconscious body out to their vehicle while Ewan wipes the floor with Carl. Not knowing anything other than that she is their mate, Roddy goes back in to retrieve her purse. After getting his own licks in on Carl he returns with her purse and ID. Now they must decide on where to take her. They know she is their mate and do not want to chance on losing her before they can explain exactly who and what they are. She had been attracted to them before the attack, but how would she feel now? Better to take her home with them where they can be sure to have the time they need convince her.
This short novella wastes no time in pulling you in. From the moment the author introduces the two shifters, on to the assault they rescue her from, then their efforts as they try to convince Tabitha that they find her beautiful and desirable. I think a trip to the Highlands should be in my future. Every woman should know such charming and persuasive men. Not to mention how satisfying it was to read the scene where Carl received his just desserts. Looking for a short diversion? Then this is a perfect read. Pick up a copy today and spend a short break enjoying "Two Bears For Christmas".
Sensuality Level: Explicit / Overall Rating: Very Good
Tabitha’s convinced she should have stayed home. She’s doubly convinced of that when her boss attacks her in the restroom at the office Christmas party, but she also finds there really are gentlemen in the world when two handsome Scots come to her rescue.
When Roddy and Ewan enter the local pub for a drink, they don’t expect to see the woman of their dreams. Saving her from a self-proclaimed interoffice lothario is only the icing on the cake.
