Close Protection

Paranormal Protection Agency

Ashlee Bishop runs the bar left to her by her father when he died. She is having a spot of trouble with a gang of thugs, headed by Isaac Roth. Either she pay him cash for protection or pay for the protection by allowing Isaac access to her body. Ashlee declines and throws them out of her business with threats of her own. Imagine her shock when she discovers that Isaac is a Pixie no less.

After he leaves giving her a few days to think about his offer she runs to the office to call the Paranormal Protection Agency. The PPA sends Zane Holder who arrives on the scene as Isaac's goons are roughing up Ashlee and destroying her bar. So the fun really begins.

Take mafia enforcer type pixies, mix in a very angry werewolf looking for revenge against pixies and a human who prefers to stay away from any and all paranormal species and you wind up with a funny romantic drama.

Mina Carter has written a fast paced novella filled with action and constant surprises that keep you on the edge while you wait to see what happens next. This installment of her Paranormal Protection Agency series is another winner. You cannot miss with this one which can be read as a standalone or you can start at the beginning of the series and read it through.

Please be warned the sex and the language are both explicit. This is not your mother's romance book. Rather have your cold drink ready to cool you off. You’re going to need it as Mina held nothing back in the love scenes. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Book Blurb for Close Protection

Ashlee Bishop is a bar owner. She was a happy bar owner until a bunch of pixies turned up demanding protection money. As a garden-variety human, she knows she doesn't have the ability to deal with the pixies, so she calls in the Paranormal Protection Agency to sort the problem out.

What she doesn't expect is for the pixies to come back before the agency can get to the bar, or the hot as hell werewolf who shows and starts teaching pixies how to fly. The hard way.

She certainly doesn't expect to be able to command his wolf...or to have to when the shit hits the fan.
