One Silent Night

Dark-Hunter Series #17

Stryker leads an army of Daimons, who feed on human souls to survive. He has devised a way to finally get rid of Acheron and his other enemies. Stryker is planning an all out assault on humanity and the only people who can save them are Acheron and his Dark-Hunters. As his plan unfolds, Artemis sends out the one person who can stop Stryker, Zephyra.
Zephyra is Stryker’s ex-wife. She is also the woman who he loved centuries ago, but was forced by his father to abandon her. Zephyra still holds Stryker’s choice against him and has waited for the day when she could get her revenge on him. When they come into contact for the first time in centuries he is not only surprised by her still being alive, he is also shocked by her further secret. Zephyra and Stryker do not know how to deal with each other; however, they both realize that they still have feelings for one another and that would make killing one another difficult.
I really enjoyed this book and it was a quick, entertaining read. Ms Kenyon successfully showed the reader a new side to Stryker and his Daimons. Also, we learnt more of the world in which the Dark-Hunters live in and what has occurred with Nick. It was quite entertaining to see all sides join together in a giant battle to save humanity and each other. I cannot wait for Ms Kenyon’s next book, I know it will be as interesting and spicy as all of the rest of her books.

Book Blurb for One Silent Night

While the world carries on unawares, Stryker, who leads an army of demons and vampires, is plotting an all out onslaught against his enemies—which, unfortunately for us, includes the entire human race. To avenge his sister, Stryker prepares to annihilate the Dark-Hunters. But things go awry when his oldest enemy returns. Enter his ex-wife. Zephyra. Just when he thought nothing could stop him, he’s now embroiled in a centuries old war with a shrew who gives new meaning to pain.
