Fever Series - Book 2

MacKayla “Mac” Lane was a young woman with no more to worry her mind than what color to paint her toes, until her sister; Alina was brutally murdered in Ireland. Mac journeys to Ireland to investigate her sisters’ murder.
Mac has learnt that Alina was looking for an ancient book, the Sinsar Dubh, a book that holds the darkest of magic and the key to save mankind. Mac uses all the resources at her disposal, including the help from Jericho Barrons, a man that is more than just a man and V’Lane, a Fae who addicts women to sex with him.
Mac is a Sidhe-seer, she sees the Fae and as the walls between the Fae and Man has become weaker, Dublin has become over run with the Fae who are preying on the humans. As Mac continues to hunt for the book she must fight some horrible ordeals and do things she never thought she would.
Bloodfever is the second book in the Fever series. I found this book better than the first as Ms Moning had explained things so well, in the first book, and was able to continue flawlessly into the second book. It is a wonderfully written book with steamy scenes and exciting fight scenes. Ms. Moning has returned the reader to the beautiful city of Dublin where dangerous things go bump in the night. Ms. Moning has written another book that demands a return trip to the series; I am looking forward to the next book, Faefever.

Book Blurb for BloodFever

New York Times bestselling author Karen Marie Moning returns with the second novel in her scorching-hot, undeniably sexy "Fever" series, continuing the chronicles of sidhe-seer MacKayla Lane and the world of the immortal Fae. After a brush with death and a taste of the mind-bending evil of the Sinsar Dubh, a book of dark magic, Mac faces an even greater threat: not only are Lord Master's Unseelie minions trying to capture her, but a murderous, inhuman enemy wants revenge - and is determined to kill the last living O'Connor Null, at any cost. Thrilling, seductive, and throbbing with the heat of a sensual and mysterious Otherworldly realm, Bloodfever is just the second book in the series that fans of paranormal suspense are already feverish for.
