8 Sandpiper Way
Cedar Cove Series #8
Emily Fleming is the wife of Pastor Dave Flemming in Cedar Cove, Washington. She has recently begun to believe that her husband is hiding something from her; she has even gone so far as to believe that he is having an affair, after finding women’s earrings in his jacket. Emily is right, Dave is hiding something from her, secrets that end up completely shocking her. As Dave protests against the charges laid against him Emily must decide whether or not to trust her husband. Will their marriage be able to survive the stress of the secrets? You’ll have to read to find out.
This book returns the reader to Cedar Cove, an excellent town in which Ms. Macomber has brought forth to the reader. In this book you are reintroduced to past friends and get to check up on them. Olivia and Jack are focused on as she fights against cancer. Christie and James are read about as a surprising twist from James past comes into play. Bruce and Rachel are planning their upcoming marriage. Tanni and Shaw, local teenagers, are also focused on as their relationship starts up and see where that goes, also through them a terrible mystery unfolds that will become the focus in the next book, “92 Pacific Boulevard” with Sherriff Troy Davis. Ms. Macomber is a fantastic writer and she makes the reader a part of the family in this series. I am waiting, quite impatiently, for Sherriff Troy’s book.

8 Sandpiper Way Cedar Cove, Washington
I have something to confide in you. I think my husband, Dave, might be having an affair. I found an earring in his pocket, and it's not mine. I'm also worried because some jewelry was recently stolen from an old woman—and Dave used to visit her a lot. You see, he's a pastor. And a good man. I can't believe he's guilty of anything, but why won't he tell me where he's been when he comes home so late?
Listener, I'd love to hear what you think. I also want to tell you what's going on with your other friends in Cedar Cove. Like Sheriff Troy Davis, to mention one. His long-ago love, Faith Beckwith, just moved here!
So come on in and join me for a cup of tea.
