Warrior's Paradise

Shana and Gitana grew up as sisters raised by a storytelling nana. Nana would tell them stories of a place called Paradise with princes and powers. Twenty six year old Shana wishes on a pendant for her sexual fantasy and awakens tied to a chair in a room of people.

The people of Paradise need to discover if she's friend or foe and interrogate her. She's continually challenged and unwilling to give any info for fear for her sister Gitana. When Val, a prince shows his marking Shana recognizes it as resembling Gitana's - he's to be Gitana's mate. Shana is the first link to renewing generations on Paradise, which is the story Lucian's cohorts and her Nana, told her. After repeated inquisitions Shana finally imparts her Nana's stories and Gitana's unusual abilities to Lucian who's a very big part of fulfilling her sexual fantasies for the rest of her life.

Cara Carnes has certainly left the story open for sequels with seven more princes and a princess for mates. She's written an entertaining, imaginative story line with strong characters with strong relationships who are just begging for more. The story line and dialogue are easy to follow. Lucian's interrogation method and the process for approving Alana as Lucian's mate was very sexy, and there's an added bonus when they go for the coupling that's quite erotic.

Book Blurb for Warrior's Paradise

Shana came to Paradise to play, but that's not why she stays. Shana borrowed her adoptive sister's talisman to fulfill her sexual desires in Paradise. She didn't expect to find herself restrained and at the mercy of the most gorgeous man she'd ever seen. All he wants is her complete surrender -- and the one thing she can't give him: the identity of her sister.

Lucian, one of the mightiest warriors of Mysk, will do whatever he must to get Shana to submit -- in every way. The more she resists, the more determined he becomes, only her surrender is not enough. Now he finds his duty fueled by hunger to have her for his own.

Shana's more than willing to give herself, but there's the small matter of her loyalties. She can only stay in Paradise as a warrior's mate. And to become Lucian's mate, she will need to pass two terrible ordeals that lead her through her darkest sexual fantasies and beyond.
