Echo moves into her parents' home in the burbs. Her neighbor Flynn comes by to extend a welcome and help her with the move. Echo is a clairaudient, she hears voices and keeps that secret to herself. As her relationship builds with Flynn she's afraid of losing him if she tells him her secret. Flynn has a secret of his own which isn't told to the reader or Echo until later in the story. I won't divulge that part of the story you'll just have to find that out on your own. He senses her desire for a BDSM relationship and easily masters her. He develops into the perfect man for her as her wishes basically transform him into her dream man. There are still the conflicts that arise and you wonder if they'll ever work them out.
The Stir of Echo is a lovely story of two diverse, extra sensory beings fated to be together. Ms Gabriel's clean, clear and easy to read story has wonderful characters and imagination. The submissive/master play is mostly tame, but still very erotic. Flynn's story line still has much to offer, you need to read The Stir of Echo for the truth of this fantasy. Enjoy.
A gifted, but untrained clairaudient with a secret desire to be dominated is about to find out the truth behind the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it."
Echo Sullivan has all but given up on herself, her gift, and on men, until she meets her charming new neighbor, Flynn. An invitation to his Halloween Fantasy Ball sends her on a course of discovery, and sexual awakening with life-altering choices.
Flynn's rakish good looks, sharp wit, and smooth Irish brogue appear to be just what the doctor ordered. He possesses an unsettling ability to recognize, and illuminate Echo's deepest desires; to stir them up and bring them bubbling to the surface. But Flynn harbors a strange and extraordinary secret.
What would you say if someone offered you the world.but asked for your soul?
