The Coven

Jason Giles is hired by Crenshaw, a scientist, from being the next in line to be murdered. The other scientists were brutally murdered, so he’s to infiltrate Cyprus Reid’s Coven to discover if she’s the killer.

Ms Reid receives the royal treatment wherever she goes. She’s beautiful and her voice mesmerizes her needy public. She also has an entourage that includes four unearthly, buff males, which are her Coven.

The scientists abused Cyprus and took her life spark/critha; now she and her men need to get it back from the last remaining scientist, Crenshaw.   Jason joins Cyprus’ group as their bodyguard. With each Coven member able to read his thoughts he’s maybe into more trouble than he bargained for.

Stephanie Burke tops my list of authors with her special characters in The Coven. Each character comes alive as they’re motivation to achieve their goal to retrieve their critha is utmost! Cyprus is the queen of the hill in this group. If threatened they are lethal. The Coven - Cyprus, Unus, Duae, Quattor, Tria or Giles can shape shift to defend and protect its members. At times they need protection from each other in the volatile group. Other times it’s the complete opposite as they’re fondness towards each other is often shown by sexual means. Each member of the story has their own specific personality and special quality such as Tria being vampire white. Each of the males has their own looks, personalities, vulnerabilities, dialogue, but they all share in adding the intrigue that keeps the story moving at its own special pace.

I would recommend this story for everyone that’s open to almost anything. It’s erotica with lots of sex: involving vivid alien sex! The story line hooks you quickly, and reels you in with a few extra leads along the way.

Anything Else: Lots of male/male sex, and I didn’t really see any particular one on one romance per se, Cyprus not only loves, she needs the attention she receives from each one of her coven.

Book Blurb for The Coven

Genre: Multicultural Polyamorous Shape-shifter Paranormal
Length: Novel Plus

What if the most beautiful woman in the world wasn't a woman...or even human?

Cyprus Reid is an enigma who courts the spotlight while carefully maintaining her mystique, intriguing legions of fans with her stylistic lyrics and a voice that brings many to tears. Even more intriguing than her all-male entourage is the fact that people are dying to get to her...literally.

To ex-Navy SEAL turned government intelligence operative Jason Giles, Cyprus is either a victim of an elaborate conspiracy, or the most fiendish killer since Jack the Ripper. Sure, the victims had shady pasts and shared a connection to a strange incident at Mount McKinley some fifty years ago, but that doesn't mean they deserved to die, seemingly drained of life while engaged in acts of wanton carnality.

Jason is sent to discover the truth, but what he finds is more seductive, more intriguing, more enticing than a mere boy in a dress. What Jason finds is the existence of The Coven. And once they discover you, there is no going back.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, male/male sexual practices, multiple partners, strong violence.
