The Change

Previous Book: Tempting Reynaldo

The Change - I read once, then, twice - and still I didn't find what I was looking for. I didn't fully understand the injection thing except that the person giving it sided with Reynaldo's arch nemesis that suddenly appears, in like, two pages near the end.

Gwen, Reynaldo's wife he's bitten to change into a vampiress isn't taking to the change easily. He visits Elijah who imparts orgasm after orgasm as the only course towards successful completion, and, by the way, offers his assistance if needed. I didn't quite understand why Reynaldo was so lacking in that department either. Ever read of a vampire that needed viagara?

Those are just some of the issues I had a hard time understanding!

The warm and cozy, or feverish excitability feeling towards the characters or the story line you sometimes get from a book just didn't surface for me. Maybe more character background would have helped. At any rate, there are a few HOT orgasmic scenes, and it's short, only 53 pages long.
