Vivian and Patrick work in the same law office, but detest each other until they get together as website swingers. Of course they don't realize who each other are until they agree to meet, and after a few drinks go for it.
The dialogue for the website conversations are basically shallow and shows little emotion when they are written like dialogue for a play eg. Lynn_2005: Now it's your turn lover. It's a bit hard to wring emotion out of short computer dialogs, as the scenery of sitting at a computer is a bit dull.
Ms Holt hoped to express her characters personality in the dialogue alone, but what was Lynn feeling while writing her return message, etc? That's where I would've liked to see the characters edges softened. Because of this it was hard to form any bond with the characters. With more emotion and character depth this book would have captured my attention more.
