Wicked Cowboy Charm

Lucky Penny Ranch, #4

I really enjoyed this heartwarming romance. Like with every Carolyn Brown book the writing was simply amazing and the characters were heartfelt and incredibly relatable. It was a very lovely story that kept my interest from beginning to end.

I loved Deke and Josie. Throughout this series Deke has been the cowboy charmer but Josie stole his heart almost from the first moment. It took him a minute to catch onto that idea though. I liked that their romance was fairly slow even though they had all kinds of chemistry. They were both cautious and wanted to take it slow. It was so much sweeter that way and easier to believe in their relationship. That's one of the things that I love so much about Carolyn Brown's books. She brings life to the characters that makes them seem genuine to me. Of course, there were a couple of snags near the end, but both Deke and Josie proved themselves to be good hearted and straight shooters.

All in all this book was another wonderfully romantic and sweet cowboy romance from the amazingly talented Carolyn Brown. I loved it and can't wait to read the first book in the new spin off series.

ONE BLIZZARD, ONE BUNKHOUSE,AND A WHOLE LOTTA TROUBLE . . .

Josie Dawson is new in town, but it doesn't take a local to know that Deke Sullivan is trouble--in a smokin' hot package. He's sweet, sexy, and has charmed just about every woman in Dry Creek, Texas. Deke Sullivan really is a one-woman type of guy. He just had to do a lot of looking to find that one woman. Now he thinks he's found her and he won't let a strong, sassy gal like Josie slip away. Just when he's wondering how to convince her he only has eyes for her, they get stranded in a tiny cabin during a major blizzard. If Deke can melt her heart before they dig out of the snow, he'll be the luckiest cowboy in Texas . . .
