Oh boy, did I ever love this book! Unwrapped was such a fun story to read. I enjoyed every page of this wonderful holiday romance.
The characters in this book really stood out, and so did the humor and magical storyline. Jacqueline was a runaway bride with wild imagination. As she is fleeing the scene of her latest almost wedding Jac gets into an accident that leads to a passionate night of hot sex with a Scottish vampire. Her vampire turns out to be Patrick McPherson, and let me say that I couldn't have asked for a sexier hero for this story. Fate throws them back together when Jac returns to town with news of their impending parenthood and they end up getting married. There was plenty of drama ahead as misunderstandings kept getting in the way. These two needed a little help and some special holiday magic to find their way to a happy relationship.
This lighthearted romance was loaded with passion and lots of Christmas magic. It had an easy flow and put a smile on my face at some of the heartwarming comedy. It was a lovely tale of love, family and good spirit because all of the characters were so nice. It was simply a joy to read, as was expected from a Katie Lane novel. I especially love that about her writing style.
This book was another outstanding read from the talented Katie Lane. I enjoyed it and recommend to everyone.
