How could this be my first ever Jackie Ashenden? Well, consider me hooked because this book was absolutely fantastic.
"The Undercover Billionaire" is the third book in the Tate Brothers series. The story follows the youngest brother Wolf Tate and Olivia de Santis. The author puts a great spin on the Romeo and Juliette trope. Their families are sworn enemies and the two lovers were entangled in a web of complex mind games. There was plenty of passion, secrets and betrayal.
The part that easily caught my attention were the brilliantly vivid characters of Olivia and Wolf. Wolf was a deadly Navy SEAL who desperately wanted a family so badly that he was willing to do anything and that included ignoring his instincts. He was endearing and stubborn as a mule. Olivia was fairly much the same way.
The Undercover Billionaire was a really great read for me so it definitely won't be my last Jackie Ashenden book. I love discovering new to me authors and can't wait to check out the previous books in this series. I enjoyed this one from the first page and the writing was excellent .... so bring on more books.
