The Mistake

Off-Campus, #2

Another wonderful story from Elle Kennedy! The Mistake is the second book in her Off Campus Series. It was a delightful read that had me captivated from page one until the end.

The future's not looking bright for college hockey star John Logan. Then a chance encounter with freshman Grace Ivers changes his life for the better. Logan was the perfect sexy but troubled hero. While Grace was the type of heroine that I love to read about. She was smart, cute and funny. The back and forth banter between these two was so entertaining. It really made the story for me. Of course, there was the usual drama and angst that made things even more entertaining. It was simply an all-around great read.

This is a very well written story, with well-defined characters, a hot hero and a cute sexy heroine. It had a steady pace and a plot that was engaging. With this being the second book in the series it featured an already fleshed out setting that promises to extend the series for many more stories. I'm excited about that since there were plenty of interesting characters that I'm hoping to read about soon.

I was enthralled by this story and didn't want to stop reading. So happy to recommend it and am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

Book Blurb for The Mistake

He’s a player in more ways than one…

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.

Now he’s going to need to up his game…

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have to work for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.
