One Texas Cowboy Too Many was another wonderfully lighthearted romance from Carolyn Brown. This book was a fantastic read from one of my all-time favorite authors.
Rhett O'Donnell hits the small town of Burnt Boot and right off the bat this motorcycle cowboy falls sweet on Leah Brennan. Sweetheart Leah feels the same way about Rhett and for the first time ever she forgets about her forbidden crush on Tanner Gallagher. But then the feud heats up and things turn nasty as the Brennan matriarch lays down an ultimatum and a smooth talking Gallagher turns on the charm. Do Rhett and Leah stand a chance when everyone is against them? Let's just say that Leah was more strong willed than anyone realized.
As usual, Carolyn Brown's writing was superb. This was a lovely romance that had some light humor, funny hijinks and cat fighting. The vivid characters came to life in my imagination and made it easy to visualize them and for me that is the best thing about reading books. I enjoyed this one so much I can't wait for the next book in the series. I highly recommend it!!!
Carolyn Brown's New York Times and USA Today bestselling cowboys prove that love is bigger in Burnt Boot, Texas
She's got too many cowboys on her hands
Leah Brennan has always been the good girl of the Brennan family, groomed to become the matriarch of the clan. When a dark-eyed, tattooed, ponytailed bad boy saunters into her life, Leah knows he's off-limits-but his mesmerizing gaze makes her forget everything she used to think was important. As town-wide tension rises, Leah wonders if love really can conquer all...
And the whole town's taking sides
When Rhett O'Donnell roars into Burnt Boot on a hot July evening, the first thing he sees is a beautiful blonde. She puts a little extra giddy-up in his heartbeat, but when Rhett's desire throws him into the middle of a love triangle and a hundred-year-old feud, he realizes that winning his cowgirl's heart will be a lot more complicated than he thought.
