Hold Your Breath

Search and Rescue, #1

I really liked “Hold Your Breath” so much that it has me hooked on the Search and Rescue series now.

Lou Sparks left her old life and moved halfway across the country to a remote town in the Colorado Rockies and joined the Search and Rescue dive team. A grisly discovery set into motion an intricate murder mystery and Callum stepped into be her strong silent protector.

I loved the romance part of this story and how super protective Callum acted when Lou was in danger. Besides the colorful characters and addictive mystery there was also some funny humor that really enlivened the plot. Lou was really funny and I loved her quick witted personality. Callum was the possessive alpha male that I couldn't help but love.

I loved the writing and how the exciting suspense that continued to unravel wasn't quite totally solved by the end of the book. It left me with something to look forward to since the next book will be featuring Ian. Just imagining a hot motorcycle man / fireman and how hot that one will surely be....oh my.

“Hold Your Breath” is a very good book and a great new series start. I enjoyed it and look forward to the next one.
