This book was absolutely awesome! It took me on an amazing ride from start to finish. Yet another solid entry in Terry Spear's paranormal 'Heart Of The Wolf' Series.
Colleen Playfair has inherited a family castle in Scotland. The one stipulation being that she must live there for a year and a day before she can return to her life in America. Grant MacQuarrie's family has managed the castle for centuries. Colleen is game for the challenge, while Grant is determined, at first, to run her off. The hot Scottish werewolf is stubborn, but he just met his match in the American female wolf.
Grant went to great lengths to put on a show for Colleen when she first arrived at the castle. There were plenty of chuckles and some priceless moments to be had in that. Most notably, the one where Grant's kilt flies up as Colleen clicks away with her camera. Oh, My! Then again where Colleen gets tipsy on Scottish whiskey.
Now, Grant was warned about those American female wolves and how they seem to shake things up. That was what happened as they inevitably started falling for each other, while a sinister nemesis rears his ugly snout. I liked the suspense and mystery that was thrown in with the romance.
All in all, it was a great book. Fun and exciting to read. It had tight writing, vivid creative descriptions, a smooth flowing plot, and romance aplenty. There were also a few familiar faces as it turned out that Colleen had a good friend living nearby after all.
I can't wait to see what's up next from this amazing author!
