Drawn Together

A Brown Family Novel, #6

I loved this book! It was sexy, dramatic, and even a little introspective. It was spicy, and full of fabulous characters that were so easy to love. This book had everything needed to grab my attention, pull me into the story, and keep me flipping the pages eager to see how it all played out. Drawn Together is a page turner for sure, and this reader enjoyed every one of those pages.

Okay, I'll come clean ... I'm definitely a Lauren Dane junky. I love her novels, with her Brown Siblings series being one of my all-time favorites. I love her alpha males and their strong resilient women. I love her writing style and the deeply emotional stories that she creates for her characters. Most of all, I like how her series and the characters are often connected. I loved the interaction and the close bonds between the characters in this one. Finally, as a fan of the Brown Siblings series, I'd been waiting for Raven's story seems like forever. And it was good.... loaded with turmoil and intensely introspective. Yet, I got to say, it was Jonah who stole the show for this ecstatic reader.

Jonah was a take charge kind of guy who always gets what he wants. Dominant and sexy, Jonah was a drool worthy hero, and he stole my heart. With his bossy ways, this guy came close to replacing Brody in my affections. The chemistry between Jonah and Raven was intense from the very beginning. It surprised me that Raven went for the possessive taking care of his woman bent, but they were incredible together, and it was easy to get lost in their love story. Just so you know, this is an erotic romance. The sex was off the charts hot, with lots of deliciously explicit love scenes. Yeah, that was awesome for this intrepid reader.

As a reader who is familiar with the series, I wasn't sure what to expect from Raven. She'd always been a spitfire, who was at times hard to like. Yet, all along, Dane kept showing the reader little glimpses of the vulnerability she tried to keep hidden. As this story unfolded, I liked what I saw in her as a heroine. She showed tremendous growth in her character, once the cracks in her walls started showing. I loved her fierce loyalty to her friends. I really liked it when she let Jonah in, and how he helped her to find the strength and courage to face her demons, and slowly take back her life. The story grew more dramatic as Raven's past continued to surface, and I really liked how Jonah stepped up and took care of her. He was the perfect man to break down her defensive walls, and get her to open up about her secrets. What I'm trying to say is.... They worked together. It was beautiful.

This book was so hot. The story was intense, with sizzling sex scenes. It was every bit as dramatic as I'd expected, with a romantic relationship that was realistically portrayed. Lauren Dane is the absolute best at what she does, so as always, this book was well done. Beginning to end.... Drawn Together was an amazing read. I encourage everyone to read it. If you're looking for a sexy story, one that will tug deeply at your heart, then this is the book for you.

I loved it! It's a fabulous read from an amazing author. I am totally recommending Drawn Together as a must read. So get your own copy of the book, get lost in it, and enjoy it as much as I did. You have my promise that you won't be disappointed.
