Beautiful Lawman

A Devil's Rock Novel, #4

WOW ! I was so happy with the latest book in the Devil's Rock series by Sophie Jordan. "Beautiful Lawman" is the story of two of the most unlikely couples ever. I was captivated from beginning to end.

Sheriff Hale Walters could be an ass at times. He thought Piper Walsh was nothing more than white trash and couldn't believe how attracted he was to her. It took a while for him to look past her bad reputation. Piper was the sister of infamous murderer Cruz Walsh that readers have been hearing about all through the series. Oh Gawd! How Piper and her little family tugged at my heartstrings. Sophie Jordan rolled out some painful but beautiful series changing surprises in this book.

This suspenseful romance was a terriffic read ! It was beautifully pieced together with loads of steamy sex and surprises that caught my attention big time. The book that I've been so eager for just has to be next in the series. Oh Lawdy I can't wait to meet the mysterious Cruz Walsh. xoxoxxo

Book Blurb for Beautiful Lawman

“Sophie Jordan excels at writing sizzling hot reads!” —New York Times Bestselling Author Jill Shalvis

From the wrong side of the tracks and with most of her family in jail or dead, Piper Walsh is used to everyone in town thinking the worst about her. It doesn’t seem to matter that she’s worked hard to build a good life for herself. So she isn’t surprised that when she comes into contact with Sweet Hill’s wildly irresistible, arrogant sheriff, Hale Walters, they’re instant adversaries. Piper has nothing in common with the town golden-boy-turned-lawman—and she refuses to be a notch on his bedpost.

Despite rumors, Hale avoids fooling around with the women of Sweet Hill, many of whom are hoping to get him to the altar. But staying out of Piper’s path is proving near impossible. The infuriating troublemaker clearly has no respect for his badge. As she continues to push his buttons, it becomes clear to Hale that he must either arrest Piper—or claim her as his own.
