I loved “Pirate” and will re-read it again! Be ready for an adventurous story. Pirate: Space Gypsy Chronicles, #1 gets 4.5 stars from me.
A great escape read is to be had! This story embodies what readers look for. You are going to love this urban fantasy set in space. This is the first book in the series. Jump right in as Rafe and Emma resolve a conflict/situation. This series is meant to be read in order, four full length books. This is not a standalone. Read the books in series order to get the big picture. The final conclusion will be found in book 4.
I'm looking forward reading to the next few books in the Space Gypsy Chronicles. Next up is “Sinner” (November 24th, 2016). Then “Rebel: (Early 2017) and the final book “King” (Spring 2017).
Who knew that making a delivery could possibly complicate Emma's life? Emma's a curvy gal who's been turning down the sexy Rafe from her delivery route. Her last stop will change her life forever. Where will this encounter lead her? What will they find across the stars?
Eve Langlais' description of Rafe is delicious! Rafe Abaddon is the humanized version of his name which is Ra’fhai Aba’ddon. Rafe is a Rhomanii, space pirate, space gypsy, captain, lover and more. Where do I order myself a pirate? I'll even be willing to take one to go! It's time for readers to get your next book boyfriend.
Read this story and discover why “Pirate” is not to be missed!
It has all you can expect from a great story written by Eve Langlais. She writes with creativity, sarcastic wit, a good sense of humor, dirty mind and convincing dialogue. Readers will wonder about Rafe and Emma's next conversation or where the sexual tension will lead them.
Earth: a space pirate’s dream when it comes to booty, but not a good place to hide when bounty hunters come looking. Pulling up stakes means Rafe must leave his vintage trailer behind, but in the process, he acquires a passenger, a mouthy female who seems to think she’s calling the shots.
She’ll soon learn who’s the captain. And it isn’t Annabelle, his sassy ship.
A true red-blooded male, Rafe does his best to teach Emma her place in the universe, but her human attitude gets in the way. So why doesn’t he sell her when he gets the chance?
Damned if he knows, but despite his motto of “The Universe Revolves Around Me,” he finds himself putting his life in peril to save hers. But that doesn’t mean he’s letting her in on all his secrets. Some things a man has to carry alone, and some revelations a pirate will kill to keep.
The universe might be out to get him, but he’s not giving in without a fight.
