Fearsome Magics

One thing that appeals about reading fiction is that it’s a chance to get away from reality. And that’s what readers of the fantasy anthology Fearsome Magics get when they read this book. They get a chance to get away from it all – away from the hassles of a job, the drama circulating among relatives and responsibilities. Fantasy stories have a certain magic all their own that can pull readers into their worlds and make everything within it so real and so enchanting. In fact, the stories in this book had just such that appeal so strongly that I was sad to see the stories come to an end. I wanted them to continue, to keep those worlds and those characters alive.

The stories in Fearsome Magics were really entertaining. Each of them had such a strong sense of fantasy writing and they were all written so well. One of the stories, in fact, was written so lyrically, it was like a beautiful dance of the imagination that I wanted to continue long after the story ended. All of the stories were written so well and I was delighted by each of them. Some of them were a bit scary or even a bit indecipherable, to be sure, but all kinds of fiction is like that in some way. Even in a world of fantasy and make believe, there’s the threat of the bad guys or the great mysteries that cannot ever be understood, only appreciated. I really enjoyed reading this anthology. Many of the stories stayed with me long after they came to their ends.

Fearsome Magics is an unforgettable, captivating anthology of fantasy fiction that had me turning the pages, hungry for more. The stories were told so brilliantly and they are sure to stay with a reader long after the book is put down.
