Under it and Over it by Megan Slayer is the first book I’ve read by this author. I enjoyed the easy style of writing this Ms.Slayer has and her inventive storytelling skills made this book a good, fast read for me. At just under 52 pages PDF, I do wish this book had been longer, but it was still an enjoyable read for me.
Regan Finley is a very talented up and coming photographer who is a few months shy of graduation. Lately, he’s been thinking of his final presentation for his photography class and only one thing has come to mind…that is photographing his roommate and friend, Camryn Tate. Camryn is in a local popular rock band and Regan has been fantasizing playing a dominate partner for his friend for some time now. Since the exhibition has a bondage theme, he’s hesitant to ask his very popular and straight friend to participate. But, when Regan finally gets the nerve up to talk to Cam about it, he’s pleasantly surprised in more ways than one.
I really liked this book. Both Regan and Camryn are likeable heroes and I thought the chemistry between them was both fun and sexy to read about. I enjoyed watching these two seemingly opposite men come together and form a loving and sexy bond between them as the story progressed. I loved the trust and friendship they had with each other. It was obvious that these two people might have to work hard and both will have to do some give and take for this relationship to last, but in the end it would be definitely worth it.
Under it and Over it was a well-paced interesting book that I hated to see come to an end. I do wish the book had been longer because I would have enjoyed watching both Regan and Camryn work hard to keep their relationship alive between them. I’m looking forward to reading more of this author’s work in the future, and definitely will be looking for more books written by her. Megan Slayer has a very interesting and informative website that she shares with a few other authors. Here is the link to check it out: http://www.menagerieauthors.com/home.htm
Regan Finley's photography makes the local music scene shine. He's four months from his final exhibition and graduation. But instead of preparing for the party, he's fretting about his exhibition theme -- bondage and passion. There's one person he wants to make his exhibition come to life, if he can convince his housemate to participate.
Camryn Tate plays the music that makes the young girls scream. He likes being a local rock hero. When he finds out what Regan wants for the exhibition, Cam has to make a decision. He can let Regan have his commanding way and get the pictures he needs for the exhibition, or he can walk away from the best roommate and friend he's ever known. all because of a little ball of nylon rope.
