Law and Ardor

Law and Ardor by Jack Greene is a sexy short novella that I hated to see some to an end! As usual, the author’s snappy dialog and sexy heroes kept me enthralled with their story from beginning to end.
When Officer James Madison was dispatched a possible breaking and entering in progress, he had no idea that it would change his life forever. As soon as he laid eyes on the sexy and shaken up victim, Nicholas, he has an immediate attraction and undeniable urge to protect the younger man.  As James makes sure that Nicholas is out of any kind of danger, both men feel the strong pull of attraction and awareness between them. When James leaves, he gives Nicholas his business card, with the hope that the sexy man will someday call him. When Nicholas calls a few days later and asks James on a date, James is thrilled. They go on their date, and as they get to know one another, both men easy realize that there is more than physical attraction between them.
I love Jack Greene’s books. Jack Greene’s novellas are an automatic buy for me. His heroes are always extremely sexy and very likeable people. There is an intense attraction between James and Nicholas that practically steamed up my computer screen. My only gripe is that I wish that Mr. Greene would write longer books. Just when I’m really getting into the characters and their lives, the story comes to an end. If you are looking for a quick, sexy and fast paced read, Law and Ardor is definitely for you!
